It was a dark night. I saw bright light in my neighbor,Jack’s kitchen. I thought he could be having a midnight snack, so I went back to my bed. My teenage son Karl became withdrawn after his father died. As a single parent, I tried to do my best to talk to him. But the more I tried , the more he pulled away.
