It was a Monday morning and, as always Katrina and her mom got in the car at 6：35 to drive to the ferry(渡船) at Lyness. When they got there half an hour later, the ferry was just arriving.

Antarctica is the coldest, windiest and emptiest place on Earth. It is home to penguins and different sea life.
