After spending 40 hours playing the online game King of Glory, a 17-year-old boy had a stroke and nearly died. This happened in Guangzhou in April last year. It shows how bad things can get if one becomes addicted to the Internet.

Among China’s 772 million Internet users, about 151 million of them are between the ages of 10 and 19, according to China Internet Network Information Center. It is necessary for parents and school to educate children to use the Internet in a good way.

To stop more teenagers from becoming addicted to the Internet, the Ministry of Education(MOE)(教育部) sent a letter on April 20 to all parents in China. Stephen Hawking, one of the most famous scientists in the world, was born in 1942 in Oxford, England.
