  1. Recently, I was invited to watch my students’ cross—country meet (越野赛). At first, I didn’t know if I should go because I was not a sports fan of any kind and my job had nothing to do with sports. Although many people might say they wouldn’t exactly consider the cross—country a sport, I would disagree. The cross—country beginners have to work out and exercise just like you do for any other sports.

  2. Radboud University in Dutch dug a hole in the ground, which is called “purification grave (净化坟墓)”.

    It is an invitation to think about what is really important in life. First dug in 2009, the grave was part of a two—year project. However, it made a comeback this year.   3. Many people head to the Takhini Hot Springs in Yukon, Canada to take part in the International Hair Freezing Contest ( 国际头发冰冻比赛) in winter. The event usually runs for the whole month of February which is traditionally the coldest time of the year in Yukon. It is below 4 oF(—20℃).
