In the village of Kila Raipur， people would like to take part in their unusual Olympics. Even though the villagers don’t spend millions of dollars on the sport， these games seem to be much more fun than the real Olympics!
Now in its 77th year， the sport took place in the village Kila Raipur in an Indian state from January 31st to February 3rd. A villager by the name of Inder Singh Grewal wanted to organize an event which would allow farmers to show their skills， keep their culture and just have a good time.
Over the years， it has become popular and now includes not just the farmers， but also some of the world’s finest athletes from 7 to 70 years of age. In keeping up with times， there are different modern sports， such as hockey and race and traditional ones such as tug-of-war and even Kabaddi.
However， the ones that interest the biggest crowds are the special sports like the bull(公牛)races. In the races， bulls run at high speed against each other， with athletes balanced on small carts(手推车). Then there is the game that challenges athletes to lift bicycles with their teeth. Another sport is using their teeth to pull a car. If that is not special enough for you to get excited about this， there is a competition that allows a tractor(拖拉机) to run over an athlete’s body!
All in all， the sport not only tests the skills and strength of its athletes， but also cheers up people. The best part is that everyone， old or young， can take part in the sport. So it’s no wonder that over 4，000 athletes and over a million watchers run into the small village of Kila Raipur， each year!

That’s because good memories can be trained. New research in the journal Neuron (《神经元》) suggests that you can become a super memorizer with just six weeks of hard training, reported The Guardian.
Researchers found that a technique (技巧) called loci, invented by the ancient Greeks, can greatly help improve memory.
By using loci, you are using your imagination to improve the brain’s memory networks. You can link (关联) something you need to remember with a place that you know very well. For example, to remember a list of numbers, imagine yourself walking through your house. Each thing is linked to a number. For example, zero could be the handle (把手) on the door and five could be the painting on the wall.
“Not everyone can become a (memory) champion. But everyone using the technique can improve a lot from the level they’re at,” said Boris Konrad, one of the researchers in the study.

China has been practicing the rule that asks people to use their real names when registering(注册) for Internet service. The rules also ask Internet companies operating in China to remove the untrue information which the web users ever gave.
Chinese lawmakers passed the rule on December 28th,2012, at the end of a five-day meeting of the Standing Committee of the NPC.
The new rules say network service providers must well check up the information given by users. The providers have been ordered to stop the spread of illegal （违法的）information, and take steps to deal with the problem. The Xinhua News says those steps include removing the information from the Internet and then reporting it to the government.
Chinese officials say the rules are aimed at protecting the personal information of Internet users and stopping false information such as junk e-mail. However, some people say such new real-name rules will make people less likely to report illegal actions for fear of possible action against them.
Duncan Clark is an adviser to Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He lives in Beijing. He says, “For a long time we’ve seen the Internet being used to report illegal action, but the new rules seem to stop those reports.”
