Dear Allen,

I'm glad to hear that you want to go hiking (徒步旅行). Our school plans to organise (组织) an outgoing to greet World Environment Day this Saturday.

We are going to meet at our school gate at 8：00 am. We are going to set out (出发) to go on a 15­kilometre hike. We are going to get to the top of Mountain Qingyun. It will take us two hours to get there on foot. So we must wear suitable (合适的)shoes, and we have to take enough water and food.
