Bikesharing has swept across China, with an increasing number of people choosing bike riding instead of driving. The bike that the service company provides has GPS or Bluetooth on it, and those bikes can be easily unlocked with a smart phone and left anywhere in public. Bikesharing allows people to borrow a bike from one place and return it at another place easily.
In some cities, we can see more and more people riding this kind of sharingbikes. It's very convenient to use the bikes if you have a smart phone. First, you have to download such an APP on your smart phone. Then what you need to do is to find a nearest bike through the APP, scan the QR code on the bike or connect your phone with the bike over a Bluetooth wireless connection. You will find the bike can be unlocked itself. Then you can enjoy your trip. What's more, the greatest advantage of bikesharing is that you can easily find one and never worry about where to park it. History of the Holiday
According to an ancient legend, Buddha(佛祖)asked all the animals to meet him on Lunar New Year. Twelve animals came, and Buddha named a year after each one.
The Year of Good Luck
Buddha announced that people born in each animal’s year would have some of that animal’s personality. If you were born in 1970, 1982, 1994 or 2006, you were born in the year of the Dog. In ancient times, the dog is considered the best symbol for honesty and loyalty(忠诚). People who were born in these years are believed to be honest, brave and filled with good luck and strength. They are said to get along best with people born in the year of the Tiger, Rat or Horse.
Festivals, Lions and Feasts(筵席)
On Lunar New Year’s Eve, the Chinese celebrate with fireworks and family gatherings. One of the most popular ways to celebrate the holiday is with the lion dance. During celebrations, dancers dressed as lions perform. The dancers are supposed to bring good luck to people. People often wear red. Legend has it that red can drive away bad luck.
The 15-day New Year season is celebrated with firecrackers, dragon dances and visits to friends and family. The celebrations end with the Lantern Festival, when brightly colored lamps are hung in parks around China.
