One day two workers were fixing electrical wires(电线) in the house. While they were working they met a problem: they couldn’t put a thin wire through a long narrow pipe. Because this pipe was long, thin and not straight. After thinking for some time, one of them, Frank, had an idea. He told his partner, Harry, what he needed.
Naturally, Harry was a little surprised. Thirty minutes later, Frank returned with two small white mice. He told Harry to hold one carefully then run away to that end of the pipe. Harry did so. The mouse made a soft sound.
When the male mouse heard the sound, he began to run out of Frank’s hand into the pipe toward the sound. Of course, the male mouse was carrying the wire. The wire was passed through the long pipe.
