I have many friends, so my best friend is called Li Ting. I met him about five years before in a class where we attended together. Though we didn’t know each other before, but we have lots of things in common. At that time, the pressure on us to study was quite heavily. We both hoped to pass the National College Entrance Exam and entered university. She was very diligent and we both studied hard. I was good at maths while she good at English. Finally, we both did very well in the exam. In fact, she gave me a lot of helps with my study. Our friendship has growing a great deal over the last five years.

I worked seven hours a day for three weeks. The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, that made me very tired that I nearly gave it up half way. After all, I stick to it with determination. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home lately in the evening. Finally I finished the job before the new term began. Now, I understand what labor means. I think it is really successful experience.

I want to work as a tour guide after my graduation from college. The first reason is that I can devote myself for work after years of hard learning. We were having a wonderful holiday now. We haven’t seen a bear yet, but there are bear and deer in the forests around the lake where we’re staying .On our first night we saw amazing fireworks show. Last night we rode in a car 2,000 meter to the top of Whistler Mountain .It was as floating in a glass ball, so peaceful and still. The city lights were beautiful. As far as I am concerned, more and more students now use computers help with their study. If we meet some difficulties when they are doing their homework, they always got help from the Internet. To spend their spare time, they look for more informations with the computers to have much more knowledge. At the same time, however, the great number of students are still so interested in PC games and chatted with others on the Internet that they can not force themselves to return to their study. They are really in dangerous. That is how we mainly use computers. They can either do good and harm to us.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools gather around here. Many college students or some foreigners often join us. We practise spoken English by talk about everything we are intrersted. We also exchange our experience in English study. This term we have a new English teacher, Mr. Zheng, which often says, “A good teacher

I have a plenty of plans for the winter vacation. But my friend Wang Lin doesn’t have any. She just stays at home watching TV. “Don’t you look forward reading good books during the vacation?” I ask her this morning. Mike was a small boy, whom hated soap and water. Three or four time every day his mother asked him to wash his dirty hands.
