During the summer holidays in this year, I thought I shall do something meaningfully instead of staying at home, but I got a job at a KFC fast-food restaurant and worked there as a cleaner. I worked seven hours a day for three weeks. The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, that made me very tired that I nearly gave it up half way. After all, I stick to it with determination. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home lately in the evening. Finally I finished the job before the new term began. Now, I understand what labor means. I think it is really successful experience.

I didn’t go to school yesterday. It was such a beautifully day that I took a bus to the seaside and I cost all day on the beach with some of mine friends.We had wonderful time.We drank coca and eat ice cream until we had no more money.I couldn’t call my parents to ask help but I don’t want to walk home,so I sold my shoe in the market and came back in bus.What a fun it was!

I want to work as a tour guide after my graduation from college. The first reason is that I can devote myself for work after years of hard learning. Be interested in my career, I will fix my mind on my job to show my talent and make a contribution to the society, but I can realize the meaning of life. Secondly, I can make my dream of traveling around the world came true. While experiencing difference cultures, I will give my helping hands to who are in need of help along my way. Last, it was high time that I should shoulder the duties. I should do something for my parents and other family member because they had been giving so much love to them while I was growing up.

We were having a wonderful holiday now. We haven’t seen a bear yet, but there are bear and deer in the forests around the lake where we’re staying .On our first night we saw amazing fireworks show. It doesn’t get dark here until 10 o’clock , so it was a real late night for us. Last night we rode in a car 2,000 meter to the top of Whistler Mountain .It was as floating in a glass ball, so peaceful and still. The city lights were beautiful. Today we went boat around the lake ,but had a very short swim .It was frozen .The weather has been sunny, but not like the weather at home .Bye for now. We will be home in

Dear Editor,
I’m writing to tell you about how we students use computers in our daily lives. Some use them in a good way when some others don’t. As far as I am concerned, more and more students now use computers help with their study. If we meet some difficulties when they are doing their homework, they always got help from the Internet. To spend their spare time, they look for more informations with the computers to have much more knowledge. At the same time, however, the great number of students are still so interested in PC games and chatted with others on the Internet that they can not force themselves to return to their study. They are really in dangerous. That is how we mainly use computers. They can either do good and harm to us.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools gather around here. Many college students or some foreigners often join us. We practise spoken English by talk about everything we are intrersted. We also exchange our experience in English study. We all have a good time here. Thousand of people have been here when it was set up.
We think that they have learned a lot by taking part in activities here. It is a really supplement to our English class and it is welcome by students, their parents and teachers.

This term we have a new English teacher, Mr. Zheng, which often says, “A good teacher
should be a person who does all that he can make himself unnecessary.” At the beginning,
we all felt puzzling at his words, but gradually we came to accept Mr. Zheng as a greater
teacher. Above all, he has a special way to make ourselves interested in his class. Besides, he
always gave us some advice on what to learn English better. “The purpose of learning a

My parents live in the country. They keep a dog calling Ah Fu. One day my parent went to work in the fields taking my little sister with Ah Fu along. While they working, my sister walked to the river nearby. Ah Fu followed her there. She was trying to pick a flower while she fell into the river. Ah Fu barked and jumped to the water immediate. When my parents heard Ah Fu barking they ran to the river. They saw Ah Fu swimming towards the bank carried my little sister. My parents praised Ah Fu warm. It was our brave Ah Fu who had saved my little sister.

I have a plenty of plans for the winter vacation. But my friend Wang Lin doesn’t have any. She just stays at home watching TV. “Don’t you look forward reading good books during the vacation?” I ask her this morning. Without taking her eyes on the TV screen, she replied, “No.” I felt very worry when I heard what he said. Though we should relax during the winter vacation, I don’t think it is the good idea to relax through watching TV. Watching TV all the time not only wastes our time but also harm our healthy. I do hope Wang Lin will spend less time during the vacation watch TV.

Mike was a small boy, whom hated soap and water. Three or four time every day his mother asked him to wash his dirty hands.
