Andy rode slowly on his way to school, day-dreaming about the fishing trip that his father had promised him. He was so busy dreaming about all the fish he would catch that he paid no attention to everything else around him.

Andy knew he could not reach the house in time. He guessed that the bees would catch up with him soon.

Suddenly, he saw a small pond used by Mr. Nelson to water his vegetable garden. He jumped off his bike and into the cool water, disappearing below the surface and away from the bees. A few minutes later, Andy came up for air and noticed the bees had gone. He walked up the hill and rang the doorbell. Mr. Nelson took him inside and called his mother.

“You’ll really need that fishing break to help you recover(恢复),” laughed his mother. “Thank goodness you didn’t panic!” But Andy did not hear her. He was dreaming once again of the fish he would catch tomorrow.

Now people all over the country take part in Black Friday events. It is even spreading to other parts of the world. Stores have held Black Friday events in the UK, Australia, and Brazil since 2012. The second is environmental kindness, which could mean simply recycling or organising a group event to clean a local park or beach. The third category is less obvious: personal kindness, which means treating yourself kindly. Some examples are taking a walk in nature or setting yourself an objective to complain less. The logic is that by being kind to yourself, you will surely be kinder to the world around you.
