As I walked down the empty streets. I felt very cold. So I began running to keep warm. Suddenly I heard a sound behind me. I turned quickly, but the street was empty. Still the noise made me afraid, so I started to run faster, Unluckily, my wallet fell onto the sidewalk. I wasn't cold or tired anymore. Although I searched the sidewalk for fifteen minutes, my wallet wasn't found.

Just as I was about to give up, a car stopped next to me. “ Is this what you are looking for?” a man asked.

It was nearly 12 o'clock when I went to bed. I wouldn't get much sleep that night. But I had got my wallet back. I also had get back some enjoyment of the city life. I realized that the city couldn't be a bad place as long as people were willing to help each other.

You may think you cannot live through summer without air conditioners. But in ancient China，hand fans were almost the only ones to help people keep cool.

Chinese people started to use hand fans over 2,000 years ago. The fans came in different shapes，such as round and square.
