Bethany Simpson, a pupil at St Columb Major Academy, bravely stepped in when her stepfather Robert Hoskins stopped breathing on March15. She delivered CPR(心肺复苏法) before the ambulance arrived.

Both Robert and Jane believe the government should ask all schools to teach first aid. “This incident just shows why it's important to teach everyone first aid -especially in schools, ”said Jane.“ Without my daughter and the training St John Ambulance gave her, Robert would be dead and I would be heartbroken.
