One day, Henry Adams, the American businessman , was lost in London. He didn’t know what to do when two old and wealthy brother met him. They found that Henry arrived London by accident and he had no money. They gave him a letter and told him to open it until two o’clock. Before long, Henry , who was in rags,  went into a restaurant .He ate as a wolf. In two o’clock, when he opened the letter, he was surprising but the waiter and the owner was shocked.  A million pound bank note was in Henry hands. What interesting it was!

A pretty, well-dressed young lady stops a taxi in a big square, and said to the driver, “Do you see that young man at other side of the square?”

When I first learn to write in English, I ran into much difficulties. The main problem was that I always thought in Chinese and tried to translate into my own language everything which I came across while I was reading. My teacher advised myself to keep a diary. I followed his advices and put down 100 words or so each day.

Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself as I was learning to express myself with simple English. One day I wrote a story and showed to my teacher. He liked it very much that he read it to the class. All said that the story was a good one. Their words were an great encouragement to me.

This morning I got up early and went to school as usually, only to find there were nobody in the classroom because it is Sunday. "How a bad memory I have!" I couldn't help laughing. Air travel has three advantage over train travel. First, it can save much time. We can fly from one place to other in a short time, but by train we have to spend more time.
