People of your age, like your classmates and friends, are called your peers. When they try to influence how you act or get you to do something, they bring you peer pressure(同伴压力).
Peers can have a good influence on each other. They learn from each other and make progress together. Sometimes, however, peers influence each other in bad ways. For example, a few classmates might get you to cut class(逃课), or a friend might want you to try smoking.
