According to a sales report on 2018’s Double Eleven, the national shopping day, woman’s down garments(羽绒服) were among the top 10 products.
1.. It seems the strong warmth provided by down garments has been nationally accepted. Especially during a cold winter, when you shake in the wind, who cares about being fascinating?2..
However, as living standards rise, more expensive garments filled with goose(鹅) down, instead of duck down, have come out in the market.
Goose or duck? What’s the difference between the down from these two animals? The down from adult goose is larger and thicker, which makes garments filled with goose down much warmer. 3.. The last difference is the key for people’s feelings to smells: Compared to duck down, goose clown has no strange smell. Geese often eat clean, while ducks eat different kinds of food, which could give their coat a strong smell. These are all the advantages of more expensive garments made with goose down. 4.. Its lower price makes garments made of duck down still popular among people of all ages.
Although most down garments can make people look big, you could choose longer ones for a smaller look. For colors, metallic(金属) colors arc more fashionable than others.
A. All you need is warmth, which down garments can provide you with.
B. Down garments can also be good-looking and modern.
C. However, duck down is still a good choice for people.
D. Numbers show that down garments have been popular for many years all over China.
