(石景山一模)阅读短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
Theatre began with the ancient Greeks. They used to have shows called "plays", which tell a story by people acting out what happened in it. They had big theatres which were outside, and you could have up to 17.000 people come and watch it. These outside theatres were round in shape, with stone seats going down to the centre, when they had the "stage". The Romans also built theatres, and there are several you can visit in England, Greece, Italy and Turkey.
Greek used to have a person to explain the story to the people who were watching, and the actors used to wear pictures on their faces, some with happy faces, some sad.
There were not any theatres in Europe in the Middle Ages, but groups of actors (or players, as they used to be called) travelled around the country putting on shows and singing songs in the towns and in large private houses. Many large houses from this time have a special area in it where the players would do their shows.
In England between 1558 and 1603, the ruler was Queen Elizabeth I. During this time, theatres would be built outside the city walls because some people thought they were not safe places to be and that people caused troubles there. They were usually round, and people would stand up to see the show. Rich people had seats to sit on. People used to eat and drink during the show. They used to shout out to the actors and sometimes throw food at them.
In Elizabethan times, a theatre group had 12 men and one writer in it. Women were not allowed to be in the show, so young boys used to wear dresses and play the female roles.
Theatre in London today is very popular, even if tickets are very expensive. Many American stars want to perform in London, and in the last few years Kevin Spacey, Nicole Kidman and Kathleen Turner have all acted in plays in London's theatres.

2.Where did actors put on shows in the Middle Ages in Europe?
3.Why were theatres built outside the city walls in Elizabethan times?

First, have a family meeting. Plan a way to get your family members together if they can’t find each other after the disaster. Choose two places for everyone to go to if it isn’t safe to return home. The first should be near your house. You can go there in an emergency(紧急情况) like a fire. The second meeting place should be outside your neighborhood.
Next, choose a person outside your area who can help your family get in touch with each other. After a disaster, it is often easier to communicate(交流) over a long-distance(长途) call than a local one. The person can pass messages between your family members.
Then, get a family disaster kit(工具箱) ready. It should include things your family needs. It can help you survive(生存) at least for three days like bread, water, medicine and things like that. Put them in a bag so you can carry it if you leave in a hurry. When doing it, remember that different people have different needs. Include special things necessary for elderly or young members of your family.
Finally, practice your emergency plan, and update(更新) it as necessary.
You may not be able to stop disasters, but with a little planning you can be helped.

1.
And why do we have them? Scientists are learning to find the reasons, but they still know
very little about why we dream.
2.
Modern research can tell us some important facts about dreams. For example, we have most of our dreams during REM sleep. At this time, the brain is very active. Another fact is that everyone dreams-even if we cannot remember doing so when we're awaken. What's more, an unusual part of our brain has been found. This part sometimes puts our thoughts and memories together in strange ways when we're asleep.
3.
Some scientists believe that our dreams are associated with life experiences and things in the dreams have their own meanings. For example, telephones in dreams are thought to be about giving or receiving an important message. A car in dreams often mean feelings about your own life. Broken teeth show fear.
4.
Scientists think that people in our dreams can tell us something about ourselves. If the person in the dream was shouting out, for example, maybe you are angry. If he or she was scared in the dream, then maybe you’re afraid of something in life.
5.
There is still a lot that we do not understand, but scientists are trying hard because the more we learn about our dreams, the more we learn about ourselves.
A.What're the meanings of the things in dreams?
