During the summer of 2006, I started reading English books, mostly story. I learned a lot of new words from these books, but I had great difficulty memorize them. I had to look up to the same word many times, that was quite troublesome. I realized I do need a way to remember all this vocabulary. I started writing down words from the books I read at regularly intervals. I would come back from school, and then read for an hour and two. I wrote down new words and added it to my collection. By the end of last year, my collection has grown to 3,000 words. It was great achievement for me.

Last weekend, I helped my grandparents prepare for our trip to Xi'an.
