It was nice for me to get away from the fog and take a trip to see a food festival. In Gilroy, a warm and sunny town in the US, people celebrate(庆祝) one of the best food festivals —the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Gilroy is famous for its delicious garlic(大蒜) food. The main dish of the festival was garlic ice cream. It was wonderfully sweet. What's more(而且), it was free. There was even garlic chocolate and pizzas. I was surprised that there were so many kinds of garlic foods. The festival was full of surprises. Some even said there were kangaroos and crocodiles(袋鼠和鳄鱼), too. But I don't think it was true. The wonderful garlic flavor makes the Gilroy Garlic Festival a special part of summertime.
