When Archie was walking alone through the town, he found a stranger with a big frown(皱眉). The man looked at Archie unhappily, which made Archie a little angry. So Archie frowned back at him. Then the man ran away in surprise.

While Archie was walking alone, he looked at the people around him. He found that no one seemed happy and that most of them frowned. Archie didn’t know why so many people frowned at each other while passing through the town.

Then a clever idea came into Archie’s head. He would not wear a frown. Instead, he would smile. Although it seemed funny at first, he gave it a try. Archie smiled at the people who were walking past him. And to his surprise, most of them smiled back. Archie thought his idea was great. Everybody seemed happier because of the smile of a clever young boy.

And it took only a smile to bring hope to the town. So when you see a frown, put a smile on your face and you’ll find that the world is a happier place.
