Dear Mr. Smith,
I’m a senior school student. I do quite well my studies, but I have a serious problem that trouble me all the while. It is the relationship between my mother and I .My dear mother is an university professor, who works very much hard. She’s always strict with me, but has a little time to talk with me. I show respect for her and I’m a little afraid of her because she loses her temper easily. I don’t know how to communicate with her. Maybe it’s because we have seldom sat down and exchange our feelings and thoughts.I hope we can know more about each other and understanding each other better. I did hope we will be closer. What’s your attitude to April Fool’s Day? A survey has done in our school and it shows that there are three different opinion. About 40% of the students thought it fun to have such a specially day to play jokes on each others. Besides, it adds many pleasure to our school life. At the same time, we can take this chance to test that our classmates are clever enough. But 30% of us don’t like the day because everything that seems in disorder and you don’t know whom to believe or how to do. Furthermore, most jokes are boring and some even go too far, but they often cause trouble or anger. The rest think people just play jokes; don’t too serious.

During the summer holidays in this year, I thought I shall do something meaningfully instead of staying at home, but I got a job at a KFC fast-food restaurant and worked there as a cleaner. I worked seven hours a day for three weeks. The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, that made me very tired that I nearly gave it up half way. After all, I stick to it with determination. Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home lately in the evening. Finally I finished the job before the new term began. Now, I understand what labor means. I think it is really successful experience.

I didn’t go to school yesterday. It was such a beautifully day that I took a bus to the seaside and I cost all day on the beach with some of mine friends.We had wonderful time.We drank coca and eat ice cream until we had no more money.I couldn’t call my parents to ask help but I don’t want to walk home,so I sold my shoe in the market and came back in bus.What a fun it was!

I want to work as a tour guide after my graduation from college. The first reason is that I can devote myself for work after years of hard learning. Be interested in my career, I will fix my mind on my job to show my talent and make a contribution to the society, but I can realize the meaning of life. Secondly, I can make my dream of traveling around the world came true. While experiencing difference cultures, I will give my helping hands to who are in need of help along my way. We were having a wonderful holiday now. We haven’t seen a bear yet, but there are bear and deer in the forests around the lake where we’re staying .On our first night we saw amazing fireworks show. It doesn’t get dark here until 10 o’clock , so it was a real late night for us. Last night we rode in a car 2,000 meter to the top of Whistler Mountain .It was as floating in a glass ball, so peaceful and still. The city lights were beautiful. I’m writing to tell you about how we students use computers in our daily lives. Some use them in a good way when some others don’t. As far as I am concerned, more and more students now use computers help with their study. If we meet some difficulties when they are doing their homework, they always got help from the Internet. To spend their spare time, they look for more informations with the computers to have much more knowledge. At the same time, however, the great number of students are still so interested in PC games and chatted with others on the Internet that they can not force themselves to return to their study. They are really in dangerous. That is how we mainly use computers. They can either do good and harm to us.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools gather around here. Many college students or some foreigners often join us. We practise spoken English by talk about everything we are intrersted. We also exchange our experience in English study. We all have a good time here. Thousand of people have been here when it was set up.

This term we have a new English teacher, Mr. Zheng, which often says, “A good teacher

My parents live in the country. They keep a dog calling Ah Fu. One day my parent went to work in the fields taking my little sister with Ah Fu along. While they working, my sister walked to the river nearby. Ah Fu followed her there. She was trying to pick a flower while she fell into the river. Ah Fu barked and jumped to the water immediate. When my parents heard Ah Fu barking they ran to the river. They saw Ah Fu swimming towards the bank carried my little sister. My parents praised Ah Fu warm. It was our brave Ah Fu who had saved my little sister.
