This week I tried two new restaurants—Michelle's and Anton's. They are both French(法国的)restaurants.
Michelle's is a small place with about twenty tables. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly, and the service is excellent. I ordered chicken with orange sauce along with rice and a salad. Then I had a chocolate cake and coffee. The chicken was delicious, but the cake was too dry. The meal cost about thirty dollars.
Anton's is a much bigger restaurant, and it was very crowded on that night. I waited twenty minutes for a table. Anton's is noisier than Michelle's, and the waiter was very slow with my meal. I ordered soup and a steak(牛排)with fried potatoes and vegetables. The soup wasn't very hot. The steak was OK, but the vegetables weren't very good. For dessert, I had icecream. The meal was really expensive—about fortyfive dollars.
Now you know why I would go to Michelle's again, but not to Anton's.
根据短文内容,完成下列句子(每空一词)。

I read a passage about HMS Belfast in a magazine. In fact, I don’t like visiting a warship(战舰). I only thought that Sam would enjoy visiting it and his dad might like it, too.So we decided to go there .
The weather was sunny that day. We started at 8:00 a.m. It took us about two hours to get there from the hotel. Children under 16 were free of charge. The price of the ticket for an adult was £14. Dear Angela,
I am having a problem with my chemistry teacher. She is super nice to my classmates but behaves completely differently towards me. She blames me for things I didn’t do. What should I do?
Mike
Dear Mike,
In a situation like this, you’d better speak to the teacher directly. This way, you can understand why she has a different attitude towards you. Our personal bias(偏见)might influence our thoughts about other people. Make sure the way you feel the teacher treats you isn’t influenced by any bias.
Angela
Dear Angela,
My parents and I have been fighting a lot recently. I’m 16, but they still treat me like a kid. My mom calls me 20 times if I don’t get home before 7 p. m. I tried talking to them about this, but they never change. What can I do?
Jim
Dear Jim,
Being angry and standing against your parents will not solve the problem. Try communicating with them from their point of view. Make a list of things you wish to do and another list of your parents’ possible concerns about them. Let your parents know you have learned to be responsible for yourself.
Angela
Dear Angela,
I’m 16 and I want to leave school this year. My parents say it is too early and that I should be trying to get into high school. I want to work at McDonald’s. Then I can start earning money to buy things.
Jane
Dear Jane,
Your parents are right. It would be better if you can complete as much of your education as possible. Real independence won’t come from earning 150 yuan a week. It will come from the qualifications(资格)and experience that you would gain by staying at school for a couple more years.
