Tina’s Try-out Day

Tina woke up to the noisy alarm clock. She opened her eyes and though why she was up to early. Then she remembered：it was try-out(选拔)day!

THE BLG DAY

A few weeks ago, Tina, decided she would try out for the Comets, her school’s softball(垒球)_______.Tina ran downstairs to the kitchen. “Mom!” she shouted “It’s my try–out day!”

But dad said, “Since no one else saw these aliens, I refuse to believe you. Now go to school!”

The children opened their wings (翅膀) and flew to school together.

Dad looked at the piece of paper with the strange word on it. “It looks strange,” he said, as he looked at the word “EARTH”.
