Many years ago there lived a kind-hearted king. The king spent days in his bed. He always ate and slept. He became very fat and the people started to worry about him.
One day he realized that he couldn't move his feet. He invited (遨请) doctors from all across his country and gave them thousands of money to make him fit. But none could help the king with his health and fitness. The king was very nice so many people suggested famous doctors to help him. He spent lots of money but nothing seemed to work.
One fine morning, a man named Rishi told the minister(大臣) he could easily make the king healthy again. The king was very happy and wanted to meet him. The king couldn't move his body so he asked the minister to bring Rishi to his palace(宫殿). Rishi lived in a far place and refused(拒绝) to go to the king's palace. This made the king angry, but he knew he had to try.
The king tried his best to meet Rishi. Rishi said he was a good king and he would soon be healthy again. He asked the king to come for treatment every day. He told the king he would treat him only if he came on foot to his place.
The king was unable to walk even a few steps on the road but he worked hard with the help of his followers. He reached Rishi's place. Unluckily Rishi was not there so the king only met him the next day for treatment. For two weeks the king went there every day but he never met Rishi. He never had any treatment but he realized he felt a lot lighter. He lost a lot of weight and felt more active than before. He understood why Rishi asked him to reach his place by walking.
