Jaden is a six-year-old boy. He experienced the unlucky things of life twice. First, he lost his dad when he was four and then his mom died unexpectedly in her sleep last month. Jaden's heart was broken. His parents' death hit him a lot.
But things always go towards a good side. A few weeks later, Jaden told his aunt that he was tired of seeing everyone sad all the time. He'd like to see more smiles around him. He hoped that the number of the smiles could reach 100.
Then he asked his aunt to buy him some little toys and take him to the center of the city. "I'm trying to make people smile," said Jaden. At first, he was not sure if the people passing by would like to receive his toys. In fact, he was always successful and got close to his dream step by step, because no one could refuse such a little boy's giving and expecting.

Almost every kid in this country has ever eaten Hershey chocolate. But do you know that the Hershey chocolate factory is more than one hundred years old? And do you know that the father of Hershey Chocolate, Milton Hershey, had many failures in business before he started his famous company?
Milton Hershey grew up in Pennsylvania. Before he became interested in making chocolate, he worked as a printer for a small newspaper at first, and then decided that printing was not the right job for him.
Then he worked at a candy factory in Lancaster. After working a few years there, he decided to open his own little candy business near Philadelphia. His first business failed because it was not making money. After that, he went to Denver to learn how to make caramels(焦糖). He took his new skills back to New York and worked selling candies on the street. But his second business also failed.
Finally, Milton Hershey moved back to Pennsylvania where he grew up. He then experimented with all sorts of different candies and chocolate. By 1893 he was selling a million dollars worth of caramel candy each year. Since his chocolate-flavored(巧克力味的) caramels were the best selling, he decided to make chocolate himself.
By experimenting, Milton Hershey discovered how to make delicious chocolate. The area where he lived had a large and easy supply of milk and sugar, which helped him succeed in his chocolate business. In 1903, Milton Hershey built a huge chocolate factory and a town to go with it.
Today, the town of Hershey is still the home of the factory that Milton Hershey built. And if you ever visit, you can smell delicious chocolate smells just driving through the town.
The factory is not so hard to find, Just travel down Cocoa Avenue until you get to East Chocolate Avenue. Turn right at the traffic lights and just follow your nose.

2.Where did he grow up?
3.Why did he go to Denver?

We students enjoy our school life. But sometimes we feel unhappy. It’s every student’s bad dream: 1 time. During the last three days of every term, we six exams.
Last week I finished my end-of-year exam. The exam to me was Maths. All of its questions were from earlier exams. So I finished it soon. The biology exam was hard. At first, I thought I would it. It asked about lots of things we never studied in class, though we could textbooks. And there wasn’t enough time to check every question. I guess at many of them. But my teacher said I did well in it.
In the Computer exam, we had a lot to do. I I needed more time, but some of my classmates didn’t think so. They just wrote down the answers and then played games. I didn’t think I could get a good score in the English exam. We had to an article about the books we had read in class. But I didn’t study English hard enough.
At our school, we can “test out(免修)”of some .That means students can study by themselves and then take the exam. If they pass, they don’t have to that class. I tested out of both Art and Health classes.
Studying for those exams was hard. Those classes would last for six months, but I had to review(复习) everything in three weeks. I’m so glad it’s all over. Now it’s the summer holiday and I can enjoy it.

Do you feel lonely when your best friend isn’t around? Here’s our advice to you–and to all kids who feel lonely sometimes.
It’s hard when a best friend isn’t around–maybe because he or she moved to a different school or a different class. You may feel left out during break or lunchtime. You want to make new friends, but how do you find them? Maybe it seems like everybody else already has his or her own friends. But remember, there’s always room for more friends.
Start by looking around your classroom–think about which kids you’d like to play with during break. Look for chances to say hi to them, smile, and be friendly. Offer(主动) to share something or express your appreciation(欣赏) to them. Invite someone to play with you or say “Do you want to sit here?” in the lunchroom. When you’re at break, walk over to kids you want to play with, act friendly, and say “Hi, may I join you?” or just join in.
If you have trouble doing this or if you’re feeling shy, ask your teacher to help you make new friends. Teachers are usually pretty good at matching people up. The most important thing to make friends is to be a friend. Being kind, being friendly, sharing, saying nice things, offering help–pretty soon, you’ll have one, or two, or even more new friends.
You might still miss that special best friend. But when you see each other again, you can share something you didn’t have before he or she left: You can introduce him or her to your new friends!
