How to quickly get a paper done last minute
Being late on assignments isn’t something new for students. Busy lives often mean students don't focus on their paper seriously until the deadline is right on their heads. 1. .
Understand the assignment
We tend to ignore work if we don’t fully understand what we need to do , mostly because we just don't have a clue where to start with it. Use the internet and help of friends and classmates to understand everything there is to know and what your teacher will expect from the paper.
Write an outline
2. This outline is the structure you will follow to complete the assignment. Make all headings and sub-headings and then all these headings should be sorted appropriately and according to the format required by the teacher.
Plan milestones with time limit
Divide the entire paper into parts and calculate how much time it will take to finish each part. 3. Putting a time limit on yourself will make you more focused. Make sure you only set realistic goals. Set longer time-lines if you have to, but try to ensure the work is done within that time.
Get away from all distractions(干扰)
Focus is very important to get tasks done and things in our every day life can be distracting. Before you sit down to work, get rid of anything that may catch your attention. For example, keep your phone in a drawer away from view and put it on silent. 4. Unless all your friends and roommates are studying with you, then don't work around them as they could prove distracting too.
5.
An introduction is one of the most important and challenging parts of a paper to write. Don’t try to write it at the beginning -once you have written the paper, you will have better understanding and knowledge of the topic so write the intro then. Leave editing until you have finished writing your first draft too.
A.You can also find many useful sites for your research in a language other than English.
B.If you are unable to get any help from friends and the work requires too much time, consider acquiring professional help.
C.Don’t start with the introduction.
D.Here are a few tips to help you quickly write a paper in the shortest time possible.
E.Go to a place where there are few or no people around you.
F.Once you understand what the topic is, create an outline for the entire paper.
G.Use that time as a goal and push yourself to complete a part within the time.

Sam Martin, 24, from Belfast
I do all my shopping on Christmas Eve because I prefer to get it done quickly. I certainly don't enjoy shopping. It doesn't matter when I shop-I probably won't buy gifts that people will want anyway. I just choose from whatever is there. I am never disappointed because I don't know what to buy for others before I get to the shop, and I don't care about getting it at the best price. My friends call me last-minute shopper.
Lucy Collins, 34, from Liverpool
I've always finished all my shopping by the middle of August. I buy when things are cheap and when I can afford to. I also enjoy trying to buy as many gifts as possible at less than the full price. This year, I've spent £230 and saved £695 on the prices.
I think Christmas is a magical time so I like looking for gifts throughout the year. I also like knowing I've bought presents that people will enjoy, rather than picking through whatever is left in the shops on Christmas Eve.
Frankie Bircham, 31, from Hertfordshire
I've always finished shopping by the end of September. I like the satisfaction of giving people presents they want-I don't like "Oh, that'll do". I prefer to buy online so I can compare prices to make sure I' m getting the best possible deal. It's cheaper than travelling into London to go shopping and I can easily return anything I don't like when it arrives.
Andi Euridge, 40, from London
I start my shopping in January and have always finished it by November. I don't like onlir shopping because then you have the craziness of parcels not arriving in time.
I live on a tight budget and I cannot afford to buy all my gifts with one month's pay. So I prefer picking up a present here and there throughout the year.

When was the last time you were late and expected someone to understand? How about the time you left your dishes on the table for someone else to clean up? Or perhaps you left the lid on the peanut butter jar loose, and the person after you opened the jar to find it dry and not fresh.
Often, we are eager to ignore our own faults. But we have higher standards when it comes to our expectations of someone else who has the same expectations. We need to as equally understand the weaknesses of others and excuse them just as we excuse ourselves.
Two of my strengths are punctuality(准时) and organization. I like to meet deadlines when they are due and keep the space around my computer neat and orderly. But sometimes things happen, and I slip from being perfect. When this happens, I show myself mercy and lower the standard for myself. However, if someone else makes a mess around my computer, I might not show them as much mercy as I show myself. If it can happen to me, then I should be willing to realize that it can happen to someone else as well.
I am not suggesting that we should not work on improving our faults, or that it should be right to be late or leave a mess behind us. Although we should always be working towards self-improvement, we shouldn’t have a double standard that says we are excused from our own mistakes but we cannot excuse someone else. If we are not 100-percent perfect, we shouldn’t expect others to be.
Mercy shows an understanding heart. If we are blind to our own faults, we will not be very merciful towards others. Showing a little mercy goes a long way when life’s little mistakes take place. When the tables are turned, showing mercy towards someone’s shortcomings could cause us to receive some in return.
1.From the first paragraph we can learn that________________.
A. we all make a mess sometimes
B. we all need private space
C. we should accept others’ help with gratitude
D. we should not open the lid on the peanut butter jar
2.How does the author develop the third paragraph?
A. By raising questions. B. By giving examples.
C. By analyzing opinions. D. By showing research findings
3.The underlined part, “When the tables are turned” in the last paragraph, can be best replaced by____________.
A. “When good luck comes” B. “When benefits increase”
C. “When our mistakes happen” D. “When the situation is changed”
4.What would be the best title for this passage?
A. Changing Bad Daily Habits B. Excusing Our Own Faults
C. Being Merciful Toward Others D. Working Toward Self-improvement
