It’s reported that some Chinese tourists behave badly travel at home and abroad. They speak loudly in public places, carve characters at tourist attractions, throw a rubbish everywhere, even cross the road when the traffic lights are still red. Such bad behavior had caused damage to what people think of themselves and our country. Actions should be taken to stop this. Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools and some foreigners often took part. Gather around here, we practise spoken English by talking about everything we are interested. We also exchange my experience in English study. We all have a good time here. Now I’d like tell you something about my part-time job this summer vacation, in which I worked as the guide in a travel agency. It was the first time that I have earned money on my own. Take our school for example. Sometimes we can see that lights and computers are still on after class. Some students even forget to turn on the tap after using it and have water run all the time. Our papers are printed on only one side, which causing much waste. It’s time we did something to avoid this kind of waste. Firstly, make sure that all the lights and other electric facilities turned off when we leave the room. Try to form the habit of turning off the tap immediate after using it. What’s more, papers should be printed on both sides and reuse if possible.
