When I first learned to write in English，I run into many difficulties. The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything into Chinese. My teacher advised me to keep diaries. I followed her advices. Happily it worked. Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English. One day I wrote a short story and showed it my teacher. She liked it very much that she read it to the class. Everyone said the story was the good one. I was great encouraged by their words.

Some classmates are feeling real stressed due to the exam, but I don’t take them so serious. I always learn in a relaxedmood and I’m making a great progress. In my opinion, we should keep a good balance among our study, rest or exercise. I believe we can be succeeded if we prepare for the exam in a proper way.

How should you do when your parents become angry? If your parents got mad, try to have a conversation with them about it. Remembering not to shout at them. They usually will try to change, but they will take some time because they get angry all their life. You may have to change for your method a couple of times. Time flies! This is a third year that I have been in this school. In the past two and a half years, our school had organized many activities. What impressed me more was an activity called “Learning to Farm”. In an autumn afternoon, we were sent to a farm which we learned to plant potatoes. Having been in the city for so a long time, we were very happy to go to the countryside. After divided into three groups, we started to work. Some students cut potatoes into pieces; some dug holes, and the others put the pieces of potatoes into the hole, put the earth back and pushed them down hard. I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I'll unable to control myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can't accept her ideas. In my opinions, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day's hard works. Besides, it is important for us to know what had happened at home and at abroad. Yesterday afternoon our school invites Professor Li from Beijing University to give us, Senior 3 students, report. Professor Li is engaged in psychology, whose report were about how to prepare the lessons scientifically for the National College Entrance Examination.

My summer travel started terribly .I was at the Shanghai Railway Station buy a ticket to Hang Zhou. I was going to visit a friend here and after that I would go to Xiamen for long holiday. Walter's goal in life was become a successfully doctor. He knew he had to finish high school first, so he puts his heart into his studies — in particular, biology, chemistry, or maths. Because he worked hard at these subjects, Walter became good at it. However, Walter forgot what he needed to master some other subjects besides those he had been chosen. As a result, Walter failed both English and Latin in the end of the second school year. But he had to repeat these subjects and he was almost unable to graduate like planned.
