Time flies! This is a third year that I have been in this school. In the past two and a half years, our school had organized many activities. What impressed me more was an activity called “Learning to Farm”. In an autumn afternoon, we were sent to a farm which we learned to plant potatoes. Having been in the city for so a long time, we were very happy to go to the countryside. After divided into three groups, we started to work. Some students cut potatoes into pieces; some dug holes, and the others put the pieces of potatoes into the hole, put the earth back and pushed them down hard. We continued doing that until all the work was done. Although we were exhausted, but we felt fulfilled on our way back home.

I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I'll unable to control myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can't accept her ideas. In my opinions, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day's hard works. Besides, it is important for us to know what had happened at home and at abroad. Today I attended a meeting holding by our school. At the meeting more than thirty students

Failure is part of our life. Somebody has ever achieved great success without lots of failures. One experience left lasting impression on me. I’ve been fond of playing the piano since my childhood. Last year there was a piano competition for teenager in my city and I take part in it. I couldn’t wait to show off. The day finally came. However, when I was on the stage I was very nervous that I made several mistakes while playing. My performance was a completely failure!
