When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulties. The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything into Chinese. My teacher advised me to keep diaries. I followed her advices. Happily it worked. Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English. Last summer vacation, I went back to my hometown to visit my grandparent. They had several cows in their yard. One day, one of them were ill, but it didn’t want take any medicine. I also fed it milk powder with pills in them, just as a doctor told me. Although looking after an ill cow was a tired job, I felt a sense of achievement as it begins to recover.

Generally, we prefer to do things the way we considered to be the best．However, it is
important to listen to those who love us and want to give us an advice when we have serious
problems in our lives．Parents have gained some life experiences and they know what to
act in different situations．That's why we should ask them for help first when they have
problems．Therefore, there are moments when we avoid them and don't want to follow
them．With time passed, my brother as well as I have realized that our parents are right．
