The Smart Goggles' superb tracking abilities mean that whenever you're looking for your keys, your overdue library book, or yes, even your baby, all you have to do is to say the word and the Goggles' camera will show you the last time your desired object appeared on screen, telling exactly where you'll be able to find it.

Though the glasses are still too big for general use, the research team in Japan believes that they'll be able to make the modem glasses smaller to the size of normal glasses in the near future, making them the perfect new accessory for yourself or any other absent - minded Professor you know.

With these intelligent designs, you'll never lose anything again. Except maybe your glasses.

So just noticing that if I take out the color, it changes some of the addictiveness.

Finally, restrict your home screen to everyday tools. Make sure that your home screen, when you unlock it, doesn’t have anything except for the in-the-moment tools that help you like live your life.

Infinite scrolling continuously loads new material so there’s no built-in endpoint. Video autoplay works in a similar way. These interfaces create a frictionless experience, but they also create a user’s sense of control and make it harder to stop.

Technology might not always look harmful. There are ideas for alternative interfaces that give you functional choices and are more transparent about how much time you’ll lose with one action, versus another.

But it’s a really deep philosophical question: what is genuinely worth your attention? Do people even know how to answer that question? It’s a really hard question, it’s not something we think about. But, for now, it’s a question that everybody needs to start asking.

Anyone who has ever lost keys or money will have wished for a simple but effective way to make sure it never happens again. A US company is trying to help.

Using a tiny microchip which is implanted into the arm, they have come up with a replacement for cash or credit cards that cannot be left at home or dropped on the bus.

The Verichip is about the size of a grain of rice and works using radio frequency identification technology.
