Last night my wife and I had dinner at a restaurant not far from our home. We like this place very much, but we have eaten there many times. Last night, otherwise, the service was not very good. We had to wait a long time after a waiter came to our table. He was very nice, but he didn't do the very good job. I ordered chicken with mushroom, but he bring me chicken with cream sauce. My wife got her main course OK, but she put the wrong kind of salad dressing on her salad. We didn't say something to the waiter. We just ate what he brought us. I know that 15% is the unusual amount for a tip. I wanted to leave 10% show that we were not happy. Did I do the right thing?

Yesterday afternoon our school invites Professor Li from Beijing University to give us, Senior 3 students, report. Professor Li is engaged in psychology, whose report were about how to prepare the lessons scientifically for the National College Entrance Examination.
On his report he emphasized the importance of a good habit of study and rest. And meanwhile she replied to some questions from both teachers or students.
As for me, what Professor Li said is very much to the point. Recent, I have always been felt a headache, unable to concentrate on classes. In fact, I often stayed up very late to do plenty of exercises. Because of more sleep and rest, I couldn't take my lessons effectively. Thanks to Professor Li, I am getting to know that how to prepare well for the examination in future.

My summer travel started terribly .I was at the Shanghai Railway Station buy a ticket to Hang Zhou. I was going to visit a friend here and after that I would go to Xiamen for long holiday. I bought my ticket but turned around to pick up my bag Form the floor and then I realized that someone had stolen it. Luckily I had all my money on my pocket, but the only clothes I had was those I had on. It felt very strange to travel without any luggages. When I finally arrived at my friend he lent to me lots of clothes. I feel very happy that I could change my clothes at last.

Walter's goal in life was become a successfully doctor. He knew he had to finish high school first, so he puts his heart into his studies — in particular, biology, chemistry, or maths. Because he worked hard at these subjects, Walter became good at it. However, Walter forgot what he needed to master some other subjects besides those he had been chosen. As a result, Walter failed both English and Latin in the end of the second school year. But he had to repeat these subjects and he was almost unable to graduate like planned. Christine was just a girl in one of my classes. I never knew much about her except for that she was strange. She didn’t talk many. I’ve learned English for so long that can communicate with native speakers of English without difficult．What’s more，I’ve worked as a guide ago and know all the tourist attractions in my hometown very well．

Today is Sunday. I didn't get up early as usually. In the morning after I finished my home-work, I do some washing. Then I telephoned one of my classmate and invited him to see a film.
