Mine own experience can serve as a case in point. When I was in Senior One, I become a member of our drama club, that I used to visit on weekends. Since my participation in various activities organizing by the club ,I achieved a lot.

It’s reported that some Chinese tourists behave badly travel at home and abroad. They speak loudly in public places, carve characters at tourist attractions, throw a rubbish everywhere, even cross the road when the traffic lights are still red. Such bad behavior had caused damage to what people think of themselves and our country. Actions should be taken to stop this. First, tourists should be educating to obey social and public order, and respect locally religions and customs. Besides, laws should be made to punish those which don’t behave politely in public. I hope soon tourists will change their behavior and win respect of themselves and our country.

Welcome to our English Corner. This Corner was set up three years before. Every Sunday morning, students from different schools and some foreigners often took part. Gather around here, we practise spoken English by talking about everything we are interested. We also exchange my experience in English study. We all have a good time here. Thousands of people have been here when it was set up.

We think that they have learned a lot by talking part in activity here. It is a really supplement to our English class and it is welcomed by students, their parents and teachers. They all think it is of helpful. If you want to know much about the corner, you may talk to the students here.

Today, the English language has different variety. As matter of fact, there are

no significant differences between them. These varieties tend to be resemble either the American or British English. For example, Australian English general uses the same spelling like British English. Our government is trying hard to build the energy-saving society. It is everybody’s duty to work hardly and reach this goal. But, not everybody has realized the important of it. Take our school for example. Sometimes we can see that lights and computers are still on after class. Some students even forget to turn on the tap after using it and have water run all the time. Our papers are printed on only one side, which causing much waste. It’s time we did something to avoid this kind of waste. Firstly, make sure that all the lights and other electric facilities turned off when we leave the room. Try to form the habit of turning off the tap immediate after using it. What’s more, papers should be printed on both sides and reuse if possible.
