Last weekend, I helped my grandparents prepare for our trip to Xi'an. On Saturday morning, together with them, I searched the Internet for the train schedule, the weather in Xi'an, or some hotel informations. In the afternoon, I went to the train station and manage to buy two tickets for them since there was a long queue. After dinner, I packed all the things that might be need into suitcase. And the next morning, I went to the station to see them away off. Wave goodbye to them on the platform, I felt very happy for them and wished them a safer journey.

I keep a diary in English every day and my written English is becoming good and better. I also try my best master the necessary grammar knowledges. By this means, I can express me correct. That’s what I have been learning English.

With more and more cars come into our families, we are happy that it has greatly improved our life. But unlucky, it has also brought many problems, such heavy traffic and traffic accidents.
Traffic safety is everybody’s business. We must obey the rules. For examples, we must walk on the sidewalks. When we cross zebra–crossing, stop and look right and left, and then go across fast. Don’t play the football on the road. Beside, we can tell our parents not to drink before we drive, not to run through red lights, not to use cell-phones while driven etc.
We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thought traffic safety is his or her business can we be safe driving on roads and walk on sidewalks.

Last weekend’s concert, organized and performing by the students of the Welsh Community College, was great success. The student had been practicing for months for the concert. They were excited that when they heard Gareth Jones was coming to present the prizes. Over 100 young performers play a mixture of jazz, classical or folk music. One of the highlights were 14-year-old Megan Evans, playing traditional Welsh folk songs. The concert ended with a very loud pop tune and anyone in the hall stood up and danced with the music. It was a magically atmosphere and a wonderful evening.

Today I visited the Smiths — my first time visit to a American family. They live in a small peacefully town. It was very kind for them to meet me at the railway station and drove me to their home. After a heat discussion, our class has decided to recommend Li Hua as the Touching Figure On the Campus. We have several reason to believe he is qualified for the honor. First, Li Hua is always willing to offering us help whenever necessary. Besides, his great devotion to work as a monitor make our class a best place to study. However, it has impressed us most is his unconditional love to poor children. Last summer vacation, he volunteered to teach English in a small village, which has been inspired many other students to join in and thus helped open up a new world to those children as well.
All in all, his selfless love touches our heart and his action suggests that even small efforts should make difference to those in need. Therefore, we strong support Li Hua as the Touching Figure Campus.

I didn’t realize the importance of working in groups since I was chosen monitor of my class in high school. At first, I did most of duties myself while other students cared few about class activities. As a result, I was tired out and depressing. Then I turned to my teacher and he gave me some advice of how to cooperate well with other. Thus I begin to realize the strengths of my classmates and have everyone to do his part in class.
From my experience, I strong feel that it is working in teams instead of on my own that has freed me from trouble and make me work more efficiently. Therefore, we need the teamwork spirit in our lives.
