Since my childhood, libraries had played an important role in my life. When I was a pupil, I regarded on my every trip to the school library as an adventure. I enjoyed my stay at the library when I could read various book I was interested in. It was for this reason why I decided to volunteer at a library. At first I had difficulty remember where each book should be shelved, and I got used to doing so soon with the help of a kind librarian. Working in the library might seem bored for most people. However, it was rewarding experience for me. It not only developed my ability to read, but also help me make a contribution to society.

Recently our class have had a heat discussion on whether the score of English should be reduced by 100. Opinions concerned this hot topic vary from person to person.

Some students in favor of it. They thought reducing the score may be a good chance for our students, we are supposed to attach much important to Chinese. It is no need for every student to learn English so hard.

However, others disagree with it. They think it’s English that play an important role in international communication. In their opinion, reduce the English score isn’t a wise choice.

Personally, I agree with the latter.

My soccer coach retired in last week. I wanted to do anything special for him at his retirement party. My mum makes the better biscuits in the world, so I decide to ask her for help. Mum taught me some basic step of baking. I insisted on doing most of the baking myself. I thought the biscuits were really well. My only mistake was that I dropped some on the floor after I was packing them up.

At a party, my coach, with a biscuit in his mouth, asked surprisingly who made them and joked, “I might have to retire again next year get some more of these biscuits.”

My favorite picture at the party is of my coach and me enjoy the biscuits with happy laughter!

It is known to all that we students today have to fix our attention to our lessons, so we know few of society. A holiday is the best time and the best chance to make up for that. Take a part-time job is a good form of social practice. That we have learned in books and in class can’t have the same important effect us as what we have learned through personal practice. First of all，know exactly what lead to your pressure，and then you can take measures to deal with it. Thirdly, find a way to relax you occasionally, for example，you can listen to music, go swim or just simply go walking.
