College students have few ways to pay their college fees. Many students have their parents to do it. Some students may apply to a bank loan and others will try to find part-time jobs in and out of the campus. Apart from this, many good student can win a scholarship, in this way they can pay at least part of the fees. As to me, I will let my parents pay half of their fees because they are that rich. Beside my study, I will take up a part-time job by teach some high school students math, physics, chemistry and English, as I’m very good at these important subjects. Of course I will also work very hard at my lessons in order to I can easily win a scholarship.

Australian bio-geneticist James Dale visited Uganda, a poor African country, in early 2000s. There, he found that 15-30 percent of children under 5 was at risk of going blind because of they did not get enough Vitamin A. Dale also learned that people there love bananas. They eat three to eleven bananas a day. So he came out with the idea to plant bananas containing added nutritions. He believed that these bananas could improve Ugandan’s healthy. Under the help of Bill Gates’ foundation, in 2014, Dale developed the “super banana”. He added a gene to the fruit, thus made it rich of Vitamin A. In June, “super banana” begins human trials in the US. This invention has helped to make the world better.

I am angry about the behavior of dishonest in exams. This doesn’t mean I’ve never cheated. I once write the answers on my hand for a history test, but unluckily caught by my teacher. Because she was one of my most favorites, there were no words to describe what sorry I felt at that time. I thought cheat would help me keep my straight A. Little I know that I was hurting not only me but also my teacher. From this lesson I know our teachers want their students to succeed by learning with their own and do the best they can, not by cheating.

Last week, our school had organized an activity to climb the West Mountain. As soon as we arrived at the foot of a mountain, we set out for the summit in high spirits. During the climb, we had such much difficulty passing the rocky areas. But under the teacher’s help, we eventually reached the top, where we greeted by the bright sunshine and fresh air. Seeing from the top, the city was extreme beautiful. This event turned out to be very success. Not only did we take a break from our heavy school work, and also we learned what to communicate with each other.

Our school will set a voluntary service club on April 22nd. The main purpose of it is to call on and organize students to serve for society better and develop our ability to cooperate to others.
The volunteers are required to work at weekends to visit the elderly in the nursing homes in our city, keep public places clean and offer some guidances to the passengers in some stations and so on. I often quarrel about my mother over if I can watch TV after school. She holds view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I’ll unable to control myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can’t accept her ideas. In my opinion, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day’s hard work. Besides, it is important for us to know what had happened at home and at abroad. Therefore, we shouldn’t be forbidden to watch TV.
