Jim McGee was once an Air Force pilot in Vietnam. In 2017, he was seriously ill because his kidneys(肾)were gone.
Jim immediately started dialysis(透析)，but a person of his age on dialysis usually lives only about four years. Transplants are a long-shot alternative.
