I was walking to school this morning when I caught sight of a old woman lie on the ground. I quick ran over to help her up and asked her that was wrong. Nowadays, many people complain to their poor achievements in study. Some are eager to know others’ secrets to succeed, thinking that they should have mastered some specially ability in study. Onmy first day in the capital, I visited the Old Tower which stands on a hill near the city centre. There was stairs leading to the top, so I decided to take the lift. At the top there was a big balcony there visitors could stand and enjoying the view. It was magnificent – you could see whole city, the river and the hills beyond. In my way back from the Tower, I went past the mainly square in the city centre. I stopped at a stall to have some more orange juice, sat there and watched the traffic for a while. The square was very busy, with cars, buses, bicycles and pedestrians gone in all directions. In the centre of the square there was a policeman controlling the traffic.

Three years ago, I became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom, I find the teachers patient and considerate. However, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided to make the best for it. I worked hardly and got along well with teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they were always available. Soon, I became one of the top student in my class, what greatly increased my confidence and I got more motivated. My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but that how you use it that determine who you are.
