A new app is trying to make it simpler to help you react to photos and videos that your friends post online---it’s using AI to capture(捕捉) your facial expressions and automatically translate them into a range of emoji(表情符号) faces.
Polygram, which is free and available only for the iPhone for now, is a social app that lets you share things like photos, videos, and messages.
Unlike on Facebook, though, where you have a small range of pre-set reactions to choose from beyond clicking a little thumbs-up icon(图标), Polygram uses a neural(神经的) network that runs locally on the phone to figure out if you’re smiling, bored, embarrassed, surprised, etc.
Marcin Kemiec, one of Polygram ‘s founders, says the app’s AI works by capturing your face with the front-facing camera on the phone and analyzing the images as quickly as possible, rather than just looking at specific points on the face like your eyes and nose. This is done directly on the phone, using the iPhone’s picture processing unit, he says.
When you look at a post in the app, you see a small yellow emoji on the bottom of the display, its expression changing along with your real one.
There’s a slight delay—20 milliseconds, which is just hard to notice—between what you’re expressing on your face and what shows up in the app. The app records your responses in a little log of emoji on the side of the screen, along with those of others who’ve already looked at the same post.
The app is meant to appeal to those who really care about how they’re understood on social media. Users can see a record of the emoji reactions to each photo or video they post to the app, as well as details about who looked at the post, how long they looked at it, and where they’re located.
Eventually, the founders say, they may release software tools that let other developers come up with their own applications for the technology.
1.As a new social app, which characteristic of Polygram is true?
A. It is cheap and available only for the iPhone for now.
B. It eventually transfers emoji faces to facial expressions automatically.
C. It specializes in a neural network that runs originally on your phone.
D. It needs to choose from many reactions that have been set previously.
2.Those who ________will be obviously attracted by this new app.
A. are new technology fans
B. are addicted to new iPhones
C. have a great passion for emoji
D. are concerned about self-evaluation
3.What’s the purpose of the passage?
A. To promote and sell a new software.
B. To introduce to us a new and popular app.
C. To reveal the significance of a new technology.
D. To inform us of the popularity of a new app.

We all wish we had just a bit more time. Just think what you could do with an extra hour or two each day: you could finally stick to an exercise routine, or clean the house, or write your novel, or learn the guitar and so on.
1.But I can help you find more hours in your day for the things that really matter.
Get Out of Bed Earlier
If you normally get up at 7; 30 am, try getting up at 7:00 am. That half-hour might not sound like much, but it could be time that you use to exercise, to read that book you've been meaning to finish. 2.
Do the Important Tasks First
Once you get to work, get the important ones done first (not the easy ones, or even the urgent ones). You can afford to spend at least an hour working on big, important tasks rather than on all those little urgent ones.
3.The urgent tasks will still get done, and you won't miss the important ones.
Reduce Interruptions
If colleagues have a habit of hanging around your desk to chat, or if the phone is constantly ringing, you might find that it takes you half the day to finish a simple task like writing a letter. Constant interruptions don't just eat up time, they also break your concentration.
When you've got a big task to focus on, let your calls go to voicemail. 4.Wearing headphones makes it less likely that people will try to strike up a conversation.
5.
A few minutes chatting, browsing the web, and so on, can easily turn into hours of wasted over the course of a day. When you’re working, work. If your concentration is slipping, take a proper break: go and get a glass of water, or stretch your legs a bit. And if you’re facing a difficult task, try breaking it into small steps or stages so that it’s easier to deal with.
A.Stay Focused on Your Work
B.Take Breaks When Necessary
C.If you have an office door, close it
D.If you work like this, you'll usually save time
E.Would you want me to make your day longer?
F.I can't magically make all your days 25 hours long
G.Or simply to get your day off to a calm and organized start

1. Figure out what you are scared of and do it continuously.
If you are a salesman, and you’re scared of talking to people personally or over the phone, now, instead of being scared and thinking you will fail, spend at least five minutes a day to pick up the phone and make a call. 2. But don’t stop on the first try! Eventually, you can look at fear in the eyes and say, “Go on, I’m not scared!”
2. Take a class for a hobby you’ve been wanting to develop.
Make sure this hobby is not linked to your career; you have to relax and relieve your stress while performing this. 3. Apart from helping you challenge yourself, taking a class for your hobby may also give you extra income.
