Some years ago when I was in my second year in university,I heard Salome Bey sing for the first time. The moment was exciting. Salome' s filled the room and brought the theater to life. I was so that I decided to write an article about her.

When Huang Lizhi took her first class in African sociology at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in February, her professor asked her and her classmates what impresses them most when it comes to Africa.

Dream in Heart
On the first day of school our professor introduced a new classmate—a wrinkled little old lady—to us. Her name was Rose, and she was eighty-seven years old.
